Here's a link to the page, Submissions close 12 September 2008. I have also attached the document, trees and landscapes do not even get a mention! ![]() Improving sustainable housing in Queensland - Department of Infrastructure and Planning IMPORTANT When you surf around that site enough you will realise that the online submission basically caters only to the ideals in the PDF. You cannot just jump in there with tree issues. This was the only page where I found a spot you can discuss trees. It is question 6 limited to 1000 characters. Get involved - ConsultQld I suggest you can also have your say here and drop links to your posts. This is critical. I have heard banterings around the place of sustainable development and LA21. In this thread from about here down I mentioned that these lovely ideals are pretty much hogwash. New Farm Jacarandas And this PDF confirms it, no mention about environment and trees, none. You have up till 12 September to have your say. If you look through the pictures of that PDF you will see .... 1/ Cocos palms (page 15 and cover) weeds. 2/ look at the gum trees page 16, the one in the retaining wall especially, by the white house. On the same picture look at the sardine cans with no room for trees.3/ look at the gum tree page 23, looks dead! I urge you all to have your say, it appears the trees were forgotten and the ones represented poor specimens and mistreated like the remnant spindly poor tapered tooth pics with no TPZ.
