New record| most users ever online

Today the old record of about 338 or so set last year was blown out of the water.

From logs it appears 62% new visitors and 38% existing members.

I have made no changes, didn't alter anything in any settings, these numbers are accurate, we had 536 people online here at the same time.

The timing places at around peak evening time USA, a Wednesday night, wonder what happened? Why?

Ironically 1 rival forum started a poll of which tree forum is the best and didn't even have us as an option on their short sighted narrow minded list.

How biased would the result be anyway, and of course they've been patting themselves on the back meanwhile we blow them out of the water.

You dont get your "stats" running polls, you get your ego stroked doing that!

Recently I wrote that fortunately certain individuals in hostile camps dont run the internet, and as time goes by the distance between us just gets larger.

Galbee, the word is spreading and the information here is superior. When I write reports much of what I need I simply search here, the Employment Forum for Australia also has become popular for travelling arbo's especially from the UK, they're real jobs and easy to find here.

You'd be doing your friends/members a disservice not to inform them of treeworld.

Easy TREEWORLD KICKS ASS would be my guess, yes ekka us pomme's get around the globe don't we, we like to visit all the countries our ancestors fought for took over and destroyed in days gone by. the job part of this site is superb so many jobs for such a large variety of people.

How good is this all those guests checking out all the threads.It felt eerie the eyes of the world were on us,but on the other hand it was great TreeWorld is going in leaps and bounds but so it should when you think of the cross section of our members.We have professors, Dr's (phd),major company executives,consulting Arborists,working Arbs to students and the general public interacting making this forum great.

They can have all the polls they want,Statistics dont lie

I found this site on Google and love it. As a neophyte tree guy I find the information to be exactly what I'm looking for. Also it's cool that us non-pros can be involved. There are some other forums out there that only allow pros to use them. (I'm involved with one of those in another industry).

Actually I'm a moderator at Mikeholt.com. That forum is set up for professionals only as a liability issue. I really like the openness of this forum. An accounting forum would be downright scary.
