| When you post there's a little paper clip thingy, just click on it. Once you've clicked on it a window opens, then click "browse" to find the file in your PC to load it up. Once you have found the file and click on it just click on the upload button. See, easy. Oh, but to embed them in the post like I have done here is a little more tricky, so one step at a time, just follow the instructions and we'll have pics to see. Also, if you are going to embed the pic please be aware of the size, widths over 700px to 800px will stretch the page for most people so resize your pics to that width. ![]() ![]()

| Keep an eye on your file sizes to match what's said in the columns. If you have large files you wish to attach and cannot just PM me and I'll make it happen. The database server has a 2mb file restriction, regardless of what I tell Vbulletin software the server wont let anything larger than 2mb through so I had to drop the maximum file sizes down. Yep, although I could crank Vbulletin up to 5mb the server never accepted them, so I manually upload large files. The only limit to file sizes is my email account if you are going to email them to me. I have a 25mb limit per email. ![]()

| If for some reason you are unable to post a pic etc check this. Firefox users, here's how to check the cookies. Tools > Web Developer > Cookies > View Cookie Information You should have 9 cookies. -------------- To clear your cookies and reload a fresh set Tools > Clear Private Data > (make sure the following are ticked!) Browsing History/Cache/Cookies/Authenticated Sessions > hit the Clear Private Data Now button --------------- To Make sure you dont block them ever ... Tools > Options > Privacy > Exceptions (type in www.treeworld.info and hit the allow button) Hope this helps. You'll find all browsers will have some controls like this, matter of knowing where, also be wise to look through options to allow pop ups from tree world as there's a few things which will pop up like Pm's etc Internet Explorer users I fired up my IE and tested a few things. Got some things for you to check. This sounds a lot but it's easy and fast, should be something everyone checks now and then anyway. Click and follow here, this is so YOU can see what files are downloaded into your temp files. Tools > Internet Options > Browsing History (settings button) > make sure in this area the green dot is top one and save > View Files. Here you should see what files are downloaded to temp folder for browsing. Now this area is where you should look next time you are forced to log in (before you log on), if these files are all gone you know it's your system deleting them. These are temp files stored on your PC to expediate browsing (faster as less files to load). It is also where cookies are stored, so if cookie is gone you must log in again. -------------- Next area, to set up so sessions are not deleted from temp files unless you allow. Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Here you scroll down list till you see Security with a padlock icon and about 8th one down is a box called Empty Temporary Internet Files when browser is closed ... if this is ticked that's your problem, make sure it's unticked and save. ---------- And there is one more thing you can do, follow me on this one. Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Advanced > Sites > type in treeworld.info and hit the allow button then the OK button and ya done. It should let treeworld load cookies as it chooses. The difference between this Vb site and others is the mods, some are cookie based.

| Howdy all, ![]() there have been some great photo's posted recently, and it would be good to see more of them Emedded in your text. This will save us time when reading your post/thread, (Time is money) and we wont have to get RSI clicking on every link. It will also allow more people to see your great work. Sometimes we have to skip through your pics, (due to time constraints) and we might miss something important. I know Ekka has covered Embedding before, but if your not that computer literate it can be difficult to remember how to Embed when you don't have the instructions in front of you. So i have written a list of instructions for ya's. Just click on the link below and print off a copy, then when you are writing your post/thread you will be able to follow the instructions easily. It can take a bit to get the hang of it, but once you have done a few times it's piss easy (I have included every possible step so just skip the ones you know already) IMPORTANT:- the size of your pic. file is important when Embedding, so if you have a large one use this great link posted by JohnDee, and you can resize your file to a more managable size. How to resize pictures, EASY! | Click here before posting a picture. So just follow the instructions and you will soon be able to embed just like i have done here. ![]() ![]() This will help to make Treeworld an even better experience than it is already. (Apologies to the guys on dial up, i know this will make things a bit slower for you) If you have any probs just post a reply with your problem and we will all help out, it will also help others who have the same problem. (You can also practice by posting here, just embed any old picture, that way you will know you've got the hang of it) Regards Simon ![]()

| If you read my instructions, and watch Ekkas video you will notice a big difference when it comes time to paste the URL. We both run windows xp Yet when we when both "RIGHT" click on the attachment, Ekka gets "COPY LINK" Whereas I get "PROPERTIES" I also get an option that says "COPY SHORTCUT" but when i tried to use this to embed, it didn't work. See what you get when you "RIGHT" click the attachment, if you get "COPY LINK" use that option (much easier). If your like me and get "PROPERTIES" you will have to highlight, copy & paste. as i detailed in my instructions. weird or what??????????????? Bloody Bill Gates & Bloody computers. ![]() If you weren't confused before you probably are now. ![]() Having trouble? post here for help ![]()

| Well maybe there aren't many people following your list here. I attempted to use #15 to create the embedded tags, and if you'll notice, you've typed it in such a way that there's an error which won't cause the pics to embedd properly. But I'll even go a step further and tell you what it is =) (Google it!) hah! Quote:
