Can't honestly remember, voted other because I think it was from Erics web page, after heading there from AS.

I woke up one morning and my dad was like: "John, Ekka started his own forums, geez he even made them look a a-like (the set out)" lol.

So I joined and here I am today, contributing and helping to make Tree World the No. 1 forum ahead of all of the other Arb' forums.

If all goes well Quintrex we'll have a regular column.

I have already written next edition, has to be in by 5th of the month prior to publication. Hopefully Kurt prints it coz first time I was missed out by error.

I just write about certain threads here for those readers who haven't visited.

Hey, Quintrex is a tinny up here, are you into fishing?

Hi Ekka,
Yeah, right into fishing, deep sea and bass in the rivers and dams. I live in Sydney, but evey year a group of us head for Cape York, around Weipa area. Usually stay at a mate's house in Hervey Bay for a week on the way home and fish there.
By the way,I tried to enter the quailified arborist section and was refused access. I am cert 3 from TAFE and cert 5 diploma fron ACAS as well as many other relevant qualifications and have been in the business since 1977. How do I get a look in there?
PS I have a 5 metre Quinny with 90 hp yammie motor.
Regards, Steve

Good on you, and there's some darned funny bordering on dangerous videos of tree work there.

The home-owners ones can make you cringe.

Welcome and if you can show us your neck of the woods.

Thats as stupid as a guy I met in Hommasassa ,fl the spray his tree with diesel to keep them from getting oak wilt.Apparently his dad told him it wouldn't hurt the tree.

That little tree of mine has never looked better since it's oiling.
It killed all the sap sucking bugs. A few leaves died but the difference is remarkable mate!
Maybe the tree saving qualitys of WD40 will become legendary!
