heres a few pictures of how to set up the rockets to their best potiential in competion.

Carabiner in attached to bottom rated strap on throwbag.

small piece of rated line is double half hitched to the climbing line, this particular line grips very well and hasnt slipped off, but you can put a third wrap on if you want to secure it. Remember to set your ropes up BEFORE you enter the throwline ring to save time.... Works well for those without spliced ropes otherwise can be clipped straight onto the splice. heres some pics...

They're the best throw bags you'll find, hand made in Kiwiland. Support a fellow tree man, buy Harrison Rockets.

They are here and available now

I just have to say that photos don't do these bags justice.

The handcrafted quality is just beautiful. I'm so impressed by these.

Hey, Jim....do you know where I might find reels like the ones you use? I think you know I've used a reel also, but it's one piece, with no winding mechanism.
As far as Harrison Rocket's go, it's time for me to get some. I called Fresco (our USA supplier)last summer and they were out of some weights...so I've held off. I did buy a Weaver/Sherrill knockoff, which is holding up so far....have liked pouches with the bottom loop, but none has been very durable.

Hey Roger, good to see you here.

Ummm, the picture I posted was just for the Harrison's. I wasn't expecting a bucketload of e-mails, PM's, the thread responses and 4 phone calls regarding the reels. FatDawg even started a thread here.

Let's keep this thread on topic, which is the fabulous Harrison Rocket throw bags, the absolute best in the world. Kiwis Rock!

Threads take a nosedive with casual insults like that.

We're celebrating Kiwi ingenuity, not tossing mud balls across the Tasman Sea. We have current sponsors, and incoming sponsors who may judge whether or not they want to be here based on the professional demeanor.

For someone trying to invite new sponsors in, it puts him in a position of compromise.

I'd like to politely suggest delete this post, and your joke-at-the-expense-of-others. You're far more professional than is reflected there.

With love, Tree Machine

Or we can end up snotty nosed and stifled like that other library forum no-one posts in, the flavour of life is just that, Kiwi's know of it, they stick it back too.

They're not complaining are they, and emoticons are used to convey the context of the post.

Actually, Aussies invented a much better Throw Bag years ago, but decided to go with with the Tourist/Novelty thing as there are a lot more Japanese tourists than tree guys, and you can use it for other things. kangaroo scrotum purses and pouches

Ok, I don't mean to be such a square.

I'd buy an Aussie Kanga scrotum shotbag. Seems like it would be two bags in one.

Bull testicles hanging off the back of pickups is quite the rage here in America. They say it makes your rig look more 'truckular."

If I hung a kanga scrotum shotbag off my tree truck I might be able to claim a one-of-a-kind setup.
