I feel for her but! come on camping under a tree in a storm and a branch falls off!! who would have thought that would happen?
that will go down as another statistic against gum trees instead of stupidity of people.

Or maybe caravan park owners / operators - wonder how their public liability insurance is?

Responsibility on both ends there, but I gotta say, gotta be keen camping outside in a caravan park on a stormy night when you could stay inside or at a hostel for probably the same price.

I recently had to do a report for a caravan park, I commented on the appropriateness of planting 30m+ capable eucs near sites. The trees were maybe only 15m and some smaller ones but why plant them?
