Hi I have a Eucalyptus tree which has been damage by the recent years of drought. The crown of the tree has died but there are some low branches which are still alive. About %75 of the tree appears dead. I was hoping the the crown would re grow with recent rains but this hasn't happen. So I'm wondering if I should cut the tree off near the base and see if it re grows, or prune just the dead branches. Or remove the tree all together. Thanks in advance for any correspondence Cheers Fred

My gut feeling says cut it down, but seriously, location Australia really narrows it down and we have no data, no pictures etc ....
