Less is more my friends, trust me.
Try that and see what it looks like buddy.

Ekka, I'm not so sure the brown background looks so great with that new bright blue banner. What about trying something else?

I like lightening, that's a wild touch and different.

Soo many to choose from.

Post numbers #6, #9

See how the trees and title are seperate on banner you have got up at the moment, i like the ones where the tree is the dackdrop on the words.

I like the one you have at the moment but how about working the gum and "Tree World" in together some how?

Just my 2 cents...

We reckon a lightening banner similar to your first, no URL and use that gum tree in the existing banner shadowed like you did the other.

the predominant blue I am using is #006699

Its like you are trying to bludgeon the people who come here with your banner, trying to force them to like the place.

Those marble/lightning? effect buttons for 'edit and 'quote' are tacky and really tasteless this place is starting to look like a freakin cheap arsed Las Vegas Harry Potter themed motel!

C'mon you guys, keep it real for God's sake!!

Thats just my opinion, for what its worth. This is not trollspeak I am trying to be constructive.

Yes, I agree. They should instead switch to the banner featuring Sterling the farm cat (from a real photo by the way, not photoshopped). At least Sterling's banner has some relevancy, as he's a hellacious tree climber. And he's arrogant too, like most tree climbers....just look at him.

Default Sterling!

Sterling is the bomb, he's got the biggest sideburns since Lemmy!

I much prefer the Sterling banner at least it doesnt look like some low rent hooker from downtown La! which is what this place is heading for!

The only thing I would say about the Sterling banner is that it does seem somewhat creepy, like a brother grimm fairy tale, like Sterlings is gonna morph into some macabre witch like creature and eat us all

Sterling kicks arse!

This banner represents warmth and happiness and a place where people can be themselves, Sterling is the spiritual leader of Treeworld he is our special little friend who keeps us all grounded.

C'mon you guys! I aint coming back till the Sterling banner is installed as the rightful aire to the Treeworld throne.

Get rid of that travesty of a banner thats in place! its making me feel like I've just walked into a budget amsterdam brothel!

Sterling is our leader! Sterling! Sterling! Sterling! Sterling! Sterling!

We love love you Sterling!

Some people hate cats. You get goanas in trees around here too.

I got two ideas on the final.

1. We vote.

2. I resize a few so they're all the same size and we whack them into a rolling gif that goes from one to the other every 5 secs etc. I'll try that, I'll have to download a gif maker ... imageforge is a freebie and handy. 50 units delay is about 1 sec on the gif maker if anyone else wants to build an animated gif.

I dunno, what do others think?

Looking back on them, that first one of Sterling does sort of have a 'Blair Witch' quality about it.

Better, yes, the first Sterling banner reminded me of Blair Witch.

but it is still pretty cool in a quirky way.
