About a month ago Aaron Bradley owner of Treewise in Whangarei had a run of either bad luck or just plain bad management. For starters he got caught with excess breath alcohol while in his work vehicle...UNWISE. Then a few weeks later he managed to slice his guts open requiring about sixty staples to close . I phoned him to see if he was ok and to offer my assistance should he require it but received an arrogant and stinging rebuttle . His explanation was that he was transfering from one tree to the next and his saw swung into him cutting his tummy...cant really work out how on earth that happened as he said the saw wasn't even running....BS ! I have been closely watching this guys work record and by crickey he's progressing from bad to worse. He smacked a mate of mine in the head with his digger at the beginning of the year...luckily Carl was quick enough to avoid serious injury but was left with a thick ear and badly shaken. UNWISE ! Just prior to that he was responsible for cutting his workers thumb off in a wood splitter and didnt appologise at all. UNWISE ! this guy is known to specimen prune with spikes on....again UNWISE! He's been given over a million bucks ( mummy and daddy )and entered the northland tree scene. He is arrogant , really bad with people, caused numerous incidents resulting in injury to himself and others and is bringing the profession into disrepute. I am very concerned at what is going to happen next ... I am saddened that a chap with such monetary backing can be so uncommitted, unproffessional and UNWISE. Unwise Aaron does take up a position in the market that clearly makes it difficult for others at the high end to gain market entry but I'm wowed by his arrogance and uncaring attitude. He has so much money at his finger-tips that he simply doesn't care a hoot. I will keep you up to date on this rogue because I am confident that there's more to be added to this thread. Paul . |

If I had a million bucks I think I'd be doing something else frankly. Too many meat heads, control freaks, liars, thugs in this industry.

Yes I agree. If got a million bucks given to me by my mummy and daddy I'd still have to work at doing something. I would still do trees but I would launch a court case against our district council through the environment court and force them to set up protection mechanisms and asset management for giant native trees . My legacy would be one of future forward looking policy making and implementation for our iconic trees. I guess unwise Aaron is so self absorbed and arrogant to even consider doing anything for the greater good other than trying to look good and feed his varacious ego. He is just such a horrible hideous and hatefull human that it is a lesson to us all... about what NOT to be. The word is speading like wildfire that he is just a yuk person to deal with and he is indeed despised by his peers for bringing the trade into disrupute. I hope he doesn't do anyone any more harm than he has done thus far but we'll see in due course. Poor poor Aaron Bradley... unhealthy wealthy und unwise! |

Sitting next to a class mate at an Occupational Safety and health course the other day she tells me that Aaron went fishing only to drive off with out hitching the boat on the tow ball correctly and it let loose. The trailer was damaged and needed an engineers carefull repair job. Insurance no doubt paid for the mugs tom-foolery. Wonder whats next...I'll keep you posted with the next update.
