sunday telegraph october 25 2009 A PRGENANT woman allegedly bashed a tree sergeon because she could not stand the noise of his chainsaw. Nicole Rose, 44 of Waterloo, who was charged with assaulting the man and his co-worker appeared in parramatta bail court yesterday. police alleged rose harassed the wokers for several days as they felled trees in the area known as waterloo green, between such and such streets in waterloo. On friday morning she punched a worker before returning minutes later with a metal pole. the court heard rose then took a hard sing with the pole causing a second tree worker to collapse only narrowly missing the chainsaw. he was allegedly struck again while on the ground and was taken to prince alfred hospital with serious head and neck injuries. when police arrived rose, who says she is of aboriginal descent allegedly threatened them with poles, she was refused bail and will re-appear in central court on monday november 9. ![]() doing our Aussie heritage proud...NOT |

We were clearing a house block in Indooroopilly near the uni. A middle aged woman went past on the other side of the road and started yelling at us that we were tree murderers and we should be caring for trees and not killing them. I yelled back .... "I bet you dont live in a tree".

| ![]() You evil tree murderers! With your loud and noisey chainsaws! You should all be locked up in jail! Now let me go home and call the government and complain about you inside my nice stick built house, while sitting on my wooden furniture, all on my tidy tree-cleared lot. Then I will write lots of letters on wood pulp paper, sent in envelopes also made of paper, while enjoying my wood burning fire. You are all evil I tell you! ![]() This Abo descent thing. I mean what, is that a defense in Oz or something? "I am a native, therefore I can legally go berzerk on anyone that I want to." Or is it a native racial ploy thing to get sympathy? I see that all the time here. The poor underpriviliged Native Americans and blacks deserve special consideration. And the poor illegal Mexicans deserve our sympathy. Boo hoo... get all the bleeding liberals all riled up. |

A law for 14 people? Wow. They must have nothing better to do in the Northern Territory. I wish they had a stiff begging law here. In Portland it is getting to be pretty bad. People camp out on street corners in the city with their dogs, kids and whatever else they think will net them more money from people. There are also lots of people standing at the main intersections off the freeways here with signs, begging for money all the time. From the looks of many of them, they are not missing any meals. Also we get the Mexicans coming around begging for 'work' in the yard and around the house. Maybe I should go down to the interstate here wearing a loose suit from Goodwill, and tell them the truth. Laid off engineer out of work. Cannot get engineering job in bad economy. Had to sell the house. Need money to pay bills. Its raining today, that would be better I suppose. Stand out there in the rain and rake in money from the suckers. Borrow the neighbor's kids and get paid to babysit, while we are all down there raking in the money. Get paid double duty. Oh, then use the kids to get food stamps and government handouts. Triple duty. Milk the system to death and all the cash its worth. |

I have no idea what you just posted here... Sorry, I only speak 'merican, and some British English. Funny story, I was staying with an ex-patriot friend of mine in California that is from London. This asian fellow came to the door trying to sell something, and he asked my friend Dave where he was from. Dave said, "England." So the asian fellow says to him, "You speak rather good English, but would you prefer if I send someone around that speaks your native language?" Dave said, "Sure... please do that. Send a proper Brit next time and we can chat things up a bit." True story! |

That job was stopped until site security is improved. I am starting there Monday for 6 days. Total time for whole job is 3 weeks, clearing the notorious "Block" to allow new housing for Aboriginal people. The lady's beef was about noise.

You mean they have slums down in Oz? Amazing. Here all we see of Oz is open range with hopping roo commercials, Ayers Rock, and the Sydney Opera House. You know, all that clean fun stuff. Then we have this restaurant chain here called The Outback Steakhouse. Its supposed to have an Aussy beef theme. Oh, and the Crocodile Hunter, we see that too. Mustly muddy places, and some guy sticking his finger up animal's bums. "This is the wild MS 460 chainsaw!!! I have never seen one this big before. Don't wanna get too close to it see, or ye'll get your fingers nipped for sure. Crikey!" Of course, that's not as bad as NZ. NZ is filled with Hobbit houses and has all these towering snow capped peaks. Not much else there it seems. ![]() Such is the limited view of the world from Amurika. |

Nothing like being abused on site. Taking down a 130ish yo peppercorn on a block undergoing renovations, it was doing $$,$$$ worth of damage. All the neighbours bar one are coming out to complain to us, even some from around the corner. We even made the news! Best quote from that job, "I bet you love cutting down trees", this old lady said that in an abusive tone, funniest thing I heard. |

If those tree huggers have their arms in pipes try pulling them apart. Most of the time they arent chained together in the pipe. This chick in my class last year does this stuff all the time, learnt a few things to watch out for.

Should also bill the protesters for time lost. Did the cops book them for anything? What about trespass? We may have to remove the metho thing etc due to racism and stereotyping of peoples, regardless of it's truth like the issues of chroming with aborigines. For those who dont know chroming is sniffing petrol etc till you get spastic. Google "http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&rls=GGGL%2CGGGL%3A2009-23%2CGGGL%3Aen&q=aboriginal+chroming&btnG=Search&meta=cr%3DcountryAU&aq=f&oq=" and see what a debacle it is, in some communities they ban alcohol but they maybe also need to ban petrol and glue etc.

Chroming? ...ah-ha! I figured it out! The preggo wench just wanted the chansaw so she could pop the gas tank and inhale the fumes! We call it 'huffing' here in the states. We'd love the story, and love some pics. Surely some-one took some pictures, mobile phone pics etc. Razz up ya mate, we're waiting. Remember that carwash king who threw rocks at the Sydney tree guys, he got off, amazing, got off with video evidence. Arborist stoning in Sydney!

Man, she is lucky that the guy missed the chain saw. If he didn't, she could have been charged with Manslaughter. A number of years ago. around 12, I was hauling liquid tankers, and I had my highway tractor set up for a product pump, or air compressor to charge the tanker with air, for unloading. One place I was unloading, was behind an apartment building, and to have the air compressor to have enough air volume, to push the load out of the tanker, I had to have the engine at a high rev, around 1500 rpms. This guy came out of the apartment building, and motioned for me to turn the truck off. After a while this bozo came out side again, and did the same motion. This time I went into the building to ask what his problem was. He told me that he was concerned about the exhaust from the truck, getting into the building. I explained to him why the truck was running, and I laughed at him, and told him to forget about the exhaust fumes from the truck, but to worry about what was under the tarps, beside the truck. He asked why, and I told him that there was ground underneath the tarps, filled with PCB .Any word on the worker that this woman clobbered, and why didn't she avoid it all together, and go somewhere for a visit with someone? Dad always told me while growing up, it takes all kinds to make the world go around. ![]() ![]() ![]() . Bruce.

PCBs... very bad stuff. Used in large electrical transformers, about as toxic as dioxin, another substance you do not want to be exposed to. GE dumped tons of PCBs into the Hudson River from their capacitor plants in New York. The great lakes are still highly contaminated with PCBs, as are some areas of San Francisco bay. Fish caught in those places should not be eaten.

The place where I was delivering to, was a plant that build Transformers, and the product in the tanker, was transformer oil. Bruce.
