I agree. Last year, I was using a buzz saw mounted on the three point hitch of the tractor, and ran off of the PTO. As I was cutting a piece of wood, that had splintered, a chunk of the splinter came back, and hit the mesh face screen, and put a dent in the mesh. Happened so quick, if I didn't have the face screen, probably would have lost an eye. Bruce.

If that happens with a Buzz Saw, I can only imagine what it would be like working around a Chipper, and probably the velocity, is a lot faster, and harder hitting, to boot. ![]() Before PPE, was there a lot of injuries around the chippers from flying debris? Bruce.
