Exclamation Fallen tree smash house

On Saturday we had strong winds uprooting trees, this one fell through a house and more bad weather on the way.

Wow, didnt really see anything much up northern suburbs. Although if its hitting again Tuesday might get to see something. I just want some decent lightning storms again.

72km/hr (39 knots) winds it said, and the kite surfers loved it. That's the bottom end of Force 8 winds where trouble starts. Could have local gusts and funnelling bump it up though.

Thats a frakkin solid barrel, the train looks flat as a pancake!

Hows the winds down south side of Vic? Hasn't been too bad up northern suburbs, decent number of branches down, not many trees though, was expecting a lot of the rotted away Prunus' to tip over with these winds.
