the cranes outrigger house side is only half out thats a major problem if your lifting heavy trees

these accidents keep happening all around the world. Same mistakes. Crane to small, arborist with not enough experience or it's almost time to go home let's take this last piece in one go. I'm glad to hear that the arborist will be oke. Never save costs on the crane (better to big) and get a craneoperator who likes working with trees. Most of them hate it because they neve know the weight of the lift exactly. Estimate the weight and add at least 50%. If this is more than the cranecapacity your in the dangerzone. Galbee is right it looks like the rigger wasn't completly out because the the crane was too close to the house. |

the further your radius the lower your capacity, it was probably the heaviest pick of the day and the stabilizers only partway out, duh
