I saw an evergreen tree in oregon at a nursery the other day. The nursery did not know what it was. It had white/gray bark and about 2-3" white/bluegray needles. I cannot find it on the web anywhere. I would love to get one, but not until I know what it is and its growth habits. Can anyone help?

Any pictures of this would be a real help so we can possibly give you an I'D.

The closet trees I can see is the Japanese white pine but has short needles not 2"- 3" inch like described plus has white golden colour not white bluish. The Scots pine is close but has reddish bark not white- gray as described. The Silver dome has short needles. Which leaves us with the Colorada blue spruce cultivar which is my pick. Willard. |
