| I'm not familar with trees in your area but it looks like a mulberry tree to me? Is it decidious in winter? Does it have either white, red, purple or black fruit? Does it have white sap like a fig? Is the bark light brown to orange in colour? Is the wood yellow in colour?

| I would discount both elm and hornbeam. The lamella is too smooth and thin for elm and there's not enough veins for a hornbeam. Poplar looks good, also Linden. And what about a Birch? |
