| The one book I saved the paper mulberry within it's description pages had all 3 listed. I probably have a dozen or more ID books. All 3 mulberries get the funky variable shaped leaves. The paper have very long leaf stems and is described as having pieces of "paper" hanging. It also has a rough surface. I saved it for all those years and ID'd it because it was so unusual having 2 dif. shaped leaves on one tree (Sassafras also comes to mind). The fibrous inner bark is used for making paper in Japan and China another name derivative listed. |
