Hi there, I am curious on what types of trees these two are? I have 3 photos of each, see attached. There are located in Sydney, Australia. I am guessing the 2nd tree is a paperbark however I am not sure. I also can try to get a better shot of the leaves in tree one if needed, the camera I was using at the time did not have enough zoom. Tree 2 is a paperbark, possibly Melaleuca quinquenervia but could be Melaleuca leucadendra .... didn't get to see a distance pic. Tree 1, I am not sure, I need better pics of the foliage.

First one might be a Claret Ash, Fraxinus oxycarpa.

we need a close up of the leaves and leaflets for number 1 pomme i havent seen a fraxinus over here!! ive seen some trees that initially look like them but they turn out to be totally different.

Hi, Tree # 2 looks like a Broadleaf Paperbark (Melaleuca quinquinervia). Not sure of the first it looks like Fraxinus from the pics |

Hi there Thank you everyone for your replies, sorry for the long delay, I finally managed to get better photo's of the foliage. So just after more confirmation if Tree1 is Claret Ash (Fraxinus oxycarpa) and Tree2 Broadleaf Paperbark (Melaleuca quinquinervia)? Tree1 ![]() Tree2 ![]() Thanks again! |

Tree one I think is Fraxinus angustifolia or Desert Ash used to be called Fraxinus oxycarpa
