Default unknown trees - Austalia

Hi there,

I am curious on what types of trees these two are? I have 3 photos of each, see attached. There are located in Sydney, Australia. I am guessing the 2nd tree is a paperbark however I am not sure. I also can try to get a better shot of the leaves in tree one if needed, the camera I was using at the time did not have enough zoom. Thanks!

TREE ONE

TREE TWO

Tree 2 is a paperbark, possibly Melaleuca quinquenervia but could be Melaleuca leucadendra .... didn't get to see a distance pic.

Tree 1, I am not sure, I need better pics of the foliage.

First one might be a Claret Ash, Fraxinus oxycarpa.

Fair enough G. It was the epicormic in picture that looks so much like a Fraxinus.
Growth habit, leaf distribution and the early fissuring developing on the stems just screams Ash to me. Can we have some close ups of the leaves and buds please ?????

Hi,
Tree # 2 looks like a Broadleaf Paperbark (Melaleuca quinquinervia). Not sure of the first it looks like Fraxinus from the pics

Hi there

Thank you everyone for your replies, sorry for the long delay, I finally managed to get better photo's of the foliage.
So just after more confirmation if Tree1 is Claret Ash (Fraxinus oxycarpa) and Tree2 Broadleaf Paperbark (Melaleuca quinquinervia)?

Tree1

Tree2

Thanks again!
