Hello, I am hoping to get some professional help here. My wife located these trees driving by a local neighborhood and just loves them. But we are not sure what they are. They appear to be some sort of willow but I dont know. Does anyone have any info as to what they are and what the species? The trees are located in Iowa and I would assume they are native??? Any help is appreciated.! Tony |

they look like a maple of some sort, but the green shoots are throwing me off. they may be willow, but I'm just guessing. any way we can get some close ups of the bark? tree Id is not a strong point of mine. I find it much easier when the leaves are out.

thanks for everyone who responded. I did manage to get a few more pics up close of the bark and branches. I stopped by my local Earl May landscaping center and he thought it was an Ausprey or an austrailian tree.????I just want some verification please. Thanks again!!!
