Default tree ID help- Boston MA

My parents have an interesting tree in their backyard. For years I have admired it, yet never sought to ID it until now.

Here's a shot of the whole tree, as best as I could square:

Some close ups of a branch containing some leaves and young flower buds:

Within days of the initial appearance of buds, they bloom:

Some trunk/bark/branch close-ups:

Bark is a bit papery, and the flowers are very fragrant, IMO. (They attract plenty of bumble-bees.)

Can anyone help with this ID?

hahaha I like the pic of that dude's Widow's Peak.

Anyway it looks like a Malus (Crabapple). Possibly Malus hupehensis?

I forgot to mention fruit, since there is none at the moment. By summer, green berries/(crabapples?) appear, turning red/orange by fall. Birds LOVE this tree in the fall!

Here is a pic of the fruit (not my pic, but identical to what grows on this tree):

Malus hupehensis seems correct to me, Very-S.
