Default tree id book

hi im new to aus from nz and am wondering what a good tree id book is (the salmon books equivilent would be good)

A Eucalyptus id book is a good start there is one titled Eucalyptus an illustrated guide to identification by Ian Brooker and David Keminig another good one to have is a field guide to australian Trees by Ivan Holiliday. What area are you in

cheers bud yeh separate book for these gums is good huh, im in lennox head, north coast nsw but possibly looking at moving to exmouth wa area, cheers for that!

If your going to WA you wont need tree id books they cut them all down years ago wa has even worst tree care than here in adelade

Maybe Cupressus macrocarpa? Looks like one. I thought they were pretty protected in Nu Zeelund.

yep its a mac. Thats a 6 foot bar on that 088. nah there are heaps of em growing in cockys paddocks you just have to leave auckland to see it
