Tree with Green and White leaves

Hello I need help to identify a tree in my backyard, the leaves are green and white.

Even without pics it's probably a variegated Pittosporum...

Pics are really necessary though. It could quite well be something else.

I could only suggest varigated ficus and perhaps some hibiscus but the poster lives in some freezing style place so my list is out.

It could even be a variegated dogwood - need pics for size of leaf, size of tree, arrangement of leaves on branch etc
