Hi, These trees line most of the roads near where I live. I'm not 100% sure but I think they bloom a really white flower (or turn white) in very early spring. Maybe I was wrong about the white bloom in early spring. I'm guessing an American Elm. |

If they have alternate leaves, and they have an insignificant bloom, then I would agree with Japanese zelkova (type of elm). Good replacement for elms in the US as they are resistant to Dutch Elm Disease. If it were here I would just assume it was another wild cherry tree. We have bazillions of them here. They have masses of white blooms in early spring. |
