Question Termite susceptibility of Messmate

Hey Guys

Does any one have a link or know of any information regarding the susceptibility of messmate (Eucalyptus obliqua) to termites and the reduction if any to the trees stability and lifespan?

No not seen anything thing about different species and termite taste before.
Sure will be much done on structural timbers so dig though wood working or home building sites and termite industry thoughts.
If you get termites in a gum tree they can chew away and you may not ever know or the tree may look sad and fall over but its very hard to tell as need xray vision.
