Default Southern Ontario Tree - Thorns and White Flowers

We recently moved into a new home and it has a tree that I am not familiar with. It was a late bloomer compared to the rest of the trees in the neighbourhood. I originally thought it was a Hawthorn however the pictures I have found of a Hawthorn, the "thorns are much larger". We also have a few mystory fruit trees but those will reveal themselves in their own time.

Thanks in advance!

Me and the rest of the family!

Black locust, Robinia pseudoacacia L., which has spines (modified leaves) verses thorns (modified stems) such as on honeylocust, Gleditsia triacanthos L., an bristles (modified epidermis) such as on bristly locust, R. hispida L. Honeylocust also as smaller leaflets on once or twice compound leaves while bristly locust is shrubby with pink flowers similar to the clammy locust, R. viscosa Vent. Black locust makes very good fence post (potentially out lasting one or two post holes), but many suckers will sprout from the roots of a cut while fresh/green post will sometimes take root. Note (better with 10X magnification) the minute notch and short hair at the tip of the leaflets.
