Hi Everyone - NUBE here. I'm a biologist and can usually figure out what most trees are pretty quickly, but this one eludes me. Note that they are in an "orchard" setting. Anybody know these? Thanks, LEE |

I agree with Treefeller because of the remaining dwarf fruit that it likely is an ornamental pear. Why would anyone cultivate Royal paulownia would be a mystery worthy of investigation. A weed tree that grows while you look at it and is weak wooded and famously ugly when not in flower and mature.

Great big, giant leaves different and unique. Interesting wood, not gorgeous, but pretty. Harder than you'd expect for a super-fast grower. |
