Hello

I'm hoping someone can help me. I have a branch from an unidentified tree which I wish to provide to my pet budgie to sit on and chew. I've been told its from an Elm tree but I am not sure of this and have not seen the tree myself. Some trees are toxic to birds and I need to ensure that this is safe for him to chew.

Can someone please help to confirm whether this is from an elm or not?

Thank you
Annalisa

OK! apologies hopefully you will now be able to open the attached RESIZED jpegs...

Hi arcorica,
unfortunately your photos didn't work out.

I'd play it safe for your pet and provide it with some Gum tree branches ( Eucalyptus species)

regards Julie

Hi Julie, thanks for your email. The photos were showing up because the Administator embedded them, not sure what has happened now though... Ekka can you assist?

Cheers

Nope, I cannot.

Ask the person who edited your post because they're deleted as far as I can see.

Hi Arcorica,

I was responsible for embededing your pictures, How ever I can not explain how they are not on display, I have resized hundreds of pictures and embedded them so they load up automaticaly. I did check the postedit logs and they showed their code but could not retrieve them.

For this inconvience I do apoligise to you, and hopefully you could reload the pictures once more.

Usually I keep the pictures on my desk top of all resize & embeds for a few weeks afterwards but on this occassion as with all my other treeworld pictures I just deleted them, cleaning up my desktop..typical isnt it.

One of the rules of this forum is to load pictures here, to this server, not p?????????t etc and link them to here.

The rule states:-

Quote:
Rule 3.1:- Image hosting is to be on TreeWorld for the sake of preservation. The disappearance of images could ruin threads and posts over time plus it's easy to upload them. Be aware of image sizes, generally anything over 750px wide and 100kb in size will pose a problem for many users on slow connections or small screen resolutions. If images linked from other sources appear on the forums Tree World has the rights to copy and load the image to it's own server.
A link to the rules and instructions to posting etc is sent in both a PM and email to every new registered member.

We do try our best to tell people what to do and how to do it, yet a lot of our time is consumed fixing pictures, and in this instance JayD lost them somehow but no biggie, post them here again as per the rules.

And thanks JayD for posting and helping out.
