Default Please ID this tree...

I've inherited this tree when I moved into my house. I have no idea what it is and whether or not it is overgrown. I keep it trimmed to about the same size it was when I moved in. Can someone please tell me what type of tree this is and if it is trimmed correctly?

Thanks.

It may be a Weeping Yaupon Holly.

Closer pics would help, but it looks like a Leptospernum from here.
