Default Please help...what is this tree in Texas??

I love this tree but can't determine what it is. It's in McKinney, Texas. The leaves are dark green and very shiny, bark is gray, ridges on leaf edges. I didn't notice any thorns. Thanks in advance for any input.

Could it be a variety of beech? Need a closer pic of bark and of leaf.

It doesn't look like beech bark to me, reminds me Plane tree (Platanus sp) bark, but the leaves are wrong,. Could it be a variety of chestnut (Castanea sp) but NOT the American variety?
