Hi, I just moved into a new house in Southern California near the beach and I'm having a difficult time identifying this tree. One of my neighbors believes it is an Avocado Tree, but I haven't seen any fruit growing on it and want to know for certain. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks you. |

Spot on with "loquat" Eric, ours fruited consecutively for several years, then occasionally none to speak of. A smallish, say 50mm long X 30mm dia. yellow fruit, very acidic in taste until ripe with a large shiny brown seed inside it. |
