Default Please help me identify and save this tree

I live in SW Florida and have this tree that appears to be dying. No one has been able to tell me what kind it is, or how to treat it. All I get is that it's rare and should be saved. Can you help?

Or a pandanus of some variety.... ? Dieback could perhaps be planthopper-related? They do naturally lose the older leaves as they reach maturity. Has it been particularly dry lately? The new growth doesn't looks terrible so it might be environmental.

Thanks for the rapid response. I looked both up and have determined it is a Pandanus tectorius, or Screwpine. We had a very cold winter last year, and the leaves have never completely come back. I'll pass this on to my landscape guy. Thanks again.
