Hi I live in Sydney and I have a tree that I need to identify because it has to be removed and council won't allow the removal unless I can tell them what it is. The tree is about 5m high. It's quite sick, as you can tell from the leaves, as it has some type of insect infestation. I'm hoping someone will be able to give me a starting point from looking at the photo of the leaves which I have attached. Thanks Last edited by Jeff Darby; 15th October 2010 at 04:25 PM. |

Pittosporum undulatum with what could be Pittosporum Leaf Miner or psyllids attacking it. This tree is considered a weed in some areas! |

Sydney council will not allow removal unless the tree/shrub is identified. Here we had tell listeners that BCC are really good and come out to assess trees etc .... have a listen around 5:46 and decide for yourself! Do listen to the whole tape though .... well worth it. Here, have a look at what councils greenie expert did here! So ask yourself, if they do come would you believe them anyway like the owner of that tree did?
