Please can someone help ID a seed pod

Hi

I live in the UK and came across this seed pod on a charity stall, there were 9 pods in total.

I would really love to try to identify it, any help would be much appreciated.

I have taken the photo next to a pen to help as a size guide.

It kind of looks like a cucurbit/gourd type number. Is it hard or soft?
