Default Need I.D. of these amazing trees!

There are a dozen well-established trees near my house alongside an office building that always burst into bloom this time of year (Southern California) and give off an intoxicating cinnamon-like scent that carries downwind for over a block or two. They are about 20 feet tall and don't appear to be growing taller. Here are some photos. Thank you so much for this website! Oh btw, neither of the self-guided tree ID sites yielded anything close.

Yes!!! These are definitely Michelia doltsopa trees, commonly called "Silver Cloud" trees. I had a feeling they were non-native and also related to the magnolia. The scent is as pungeant as magnolias but more spicy and balanced notes. The leaves are smaller, thinner and less waxy than magnolias and the trunk and branches not nearly as sturdy. Wikipedia references these as popular streetside trees in Southern California too.
Thank you sooo much for your expertise and prompt reply!
