Enjoyed your website, but could not find this tree there - or anywhere else on the web for that matter. Any help would be appreciated. Tree is 50+ feet tall with a droopy appearance. Have not seen fruit or flowers yet. Thank you very much. Larry Larry@LarryT.net |

That's called a Cutleaf European White Birch (Betula pendula 'Laciniata') Picture: Cutleaf European White Birch, Oregon State Univ., LANDSCAPE PLANTS B. pendula 'Laciniata' is rare in cultivation, and that most trees called 'Laciniata' are actually B. pendula 'Crispa' (sometimes given as B. pendula var. crispa). However, Cutleaf Birch is often sold as B. pendula 'Dalecarlica', which is extremely rare, and wrongly applied to 'Crispa'. |
