Question Name That Tree!

Hey All,

Could any of you clever people help me identify these trees (behind shed) and whether they are fully mature yet?

It is located in the UK in the Midlands. We are going to dig foundations for a new outbuilding close to it so need to know what were dealing with (if you have any tips on building near trees that would also be much appreciated - the soil is a sandy clay)

Thanks in advance,

Ched

They are only small for Sycamore so be aware that they have massive potential for growth

This name is Sycamore Maple, not sycamore(has mottled bark). Can't confirm the tree is a sycamore maple - need clearer pics of leaves, and preferably seed strands on trees- but both Sycamore and Sycamore maple grow big.

If want to save the tree - stay as far away as possible, or if doing foundation work - hand dig around the roots and hope for the best,
