I think that is Schinus terebinthifolius (Brazilian pepper tree) .... a weed here.

Looks more like a Juneberry(Amelanchier sp) to me. If so the berries are edible. I am not sure if a pepper tree would survive in Arizona.

Brazilian pepper is a highly invasive nasty tree in Florida too. Very difficult to kill.
