Question I would REALLY REALLY appreciate your assistance identifying this tree..

Hi There,

I would really like to plant these trees along the boundary of my property but I have no idea what they are. If anyone is able to assist with their identification, I would be forever grateful

I live in Perth, Western Australia and found these trees on a property in the southern suburbs.

Thanks a million for your help!

Dawne.

Hi Dawne,

from the pics they appear to be Pyrus calleryana - One of the Ornamental Pears.

Looks like a what is known as a bradford pear here in california.
pretty flowers in the fall, but they tend to lose large branches because of their tight crotches and poor structure.

Hi TrevMcRev, Kflood74 and jeffswede,

Thank-you all so much for replying to my post. I've been trying to find out what those trees are for the past 6 months! I really appreciate the advice.

All the best & many thanks,

Dawne
