Ok, so I went to SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA and I saw this tree ![]() WHAT KIND OF TREE IS IT!? I'm so freaking desperate. I love it, I tattooed it on my body and everyone calls it a cherry blossom tree. Looks like what we call a Coral Tree or Flame Tree around here. Erythrina variegata, I think. Have a look at Google Images for that you'll see some like it. |

i cant see the leaves but i would agree a coral tree is the bark covered in spikes? if so then yes either an Erythrina sykesii or could be speciosa. Erythrina”, from Greek erythros, “red”; “sykesii” is commemorative.
