Default Fast Growing Tree

Can anyone identify this tree?

It has multiple stems coming from the root. We cut it back in August and it has already grown to the height of our gutters in five months (about 1.5 mtrs). I have a photo of the tree, its stems/trunks? and the leaves up close.

I'd like to know what type of tree it is and whether we can take cuttings of it to provide screening at the rear of our property.

Thanks so much! :-)
