Default Training - tree climbing, rescue, chainsaw, felling, pruning, OHS for Arb industy

Training and Assessment for the tree industry

Treetec provides training in the arboricultural industry, we work with a Registered Training Organization (RTO) and provide both training and assessment in competencies such as Tree climbing, Aerial rescue, Rescue refreshers, Tree pruning, Hazard tree assessment, Tree Felling & Chainsaw use.

A course length and location can be suited to the client, courses are based on competency based training; therefore if it only takes a day or two to demonstrate competency in how to use a chainsaw or climb a tree safely then that may be the length of the course.

The various pieces of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) legislation in Australia require a number of things of both employers and employees, Treetec can help with compliance and supporting documentation.

Initiatives by the Federal Government means there are now opportunities for employees to participate in funded training / assessment. This will enable staff to undertake training which will assess where their current competencies are through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and fill the gap with tailored delivery.

Treetec also provides OHS consulting and documentation for tree companies: keeps your business OH&S compliant, gives you the documentation required for tenders and most importantly keeps your team safe.

We are based in Melbourne and deliver training courses and consulting Australia wide.
