Hey I read this article sounds like a good program I think it would probably work around here as long you made sure everything was lined up right for contractor no bs from homeowners to planting contractors . Think if homeowners started complain a bunch to contractors about the common complaints like I thought this was suppose to taller ,wider , bloom all year and do back flips. The planting contractors would say forget you 30 bucks to plant a tree . 30 dollars a bare root is good money if it can be planted with little or no grief . But this is very well thought plan and sounds great .

Thanks OSB,

The secret of this system is in the meeting with the homeowners. You not only describe the proposed tree, you show them photos. If they are going to be whips you tell them that as well. However, generally the trees are in the 1 ? 2 inch range.

There have been times when people changed their mind. That is when you contact some on the waiting list, make a substitution with someone else, or donate a tree to the park dept.
