| And comments here at TreeWorld, about those Online Seminar articles, would be interesting to see. There have been several articles which were fine launching pads for discussion, debate, or additional techniques. Including regional exceptions to the rules. ![]() |

| It is a shame the on-line seminars are only up for a limited time...I see from the threads posted there would have been many interesting topics covered..but no originating document to review....or is there a way? |

But I think it would become complicated for Len Phillips to store all the articles on that site. And the articles almost seem to need removal from the home page so people don't get confused about which ones they can currently read and take a test for. But if people read these when they come out, 2 months is a long amount of discussion. If each of us included a paragraph or two in quotes about what part we are talking about, I have a feeling that the 2 month long discussion would have plenty of content to keep the subject alive for quite some time. | |

| Yes, I am around, checking up on you guys.(LOL) All of the previous articles are available upon request. It is the large size of the entire Seminar archive that prevents them from being kept on the website. Plus, as you know, the information can very quickly go out-of-date. When I discover new information, a couple of years later, I rewrite the article and run it again, so you have the up-to-date facts. Keep in mind the articles can be "copy and pasted" so you can keep them filed in your computers. Keep the comments flowing. They are a big help to me for corrections and comments as well as ideas for future Seminars.

| Len, A couple of things that make open forums exciting but risky. 1/ Anonymity, behind a fictitious member name and keyboard lurk huge ego's and personalities, imagine, you can say things you normally wouldn't.... sometimes we don't know who people are. 2/ It's accessible to everyone at all levels of the industry from all over the world with their unique experiences. So just when you think you got it right along comes a new outlook. Just for your information there's a few brewing right now. I certainly like to test new information as there's no shortage of snake oil either however trees do respond uniquely at times dependant upon environment and species. Check out this thread, here's a good place to start. http://www.treeworld.info/f8/longer-...html#post16950 Could mean an article on codit if in fact there's anything new.
