Default YE olde Chainsaws

Hi does any one know much about YE olde chainsaws? I have just aquired a danarm DD8f MkIII. its a beast of a thing probly a bit dangerous but it works and I think it will be worth abit.

Ta for the tech info there, she s older than me, I guessed it was early 60s, they dont build them like that anymore!

Aye crucificio,

Did a search on Google and found this thread.

Used to work with IoM FL&MB 30 years ago. Chainsaws only used for felling! All larch axe sned afore going through the mill, which used to be on the road up to Glen Helen to be cut for 'larch lap' and the roaring fencing trade around the '70 developements! All extraction with 'Bernie' ex tram horse and Wilfy the horseman.

Selling a manual for one of the old 'back breakers' you've found, on Ebay if you are interested.

Hopefully you have the machine running by now. I should also thank stihl#1 for his useful data posting.

My compliments to all about the site, I shall spread the word.
