Hello all, I am new here. Some of you may know me by the Modified mufflers that I build and sell on eBay. Looks like you have a nice forum.

Thanks to Bill for inviting me. (newguy18)

With Great Esteem,
Scott.

G'Day Scott and welcome.
Any info on modding mufflers is appreciated. And pictures tell a thousand words.
I have played around with some 036's, 039's, 019's with exhausts with mixed results, just for my own working use.
Look forward to talkim shop.

Hi Scott

Like modded mufflers to use on work saws, just bolt them onto ya MS660 or MS460 for instance?

The 460 440 and 066/660/650 are the easiest to mod. But I can mod any muffler that is steel.

Ekka, You pop off your cover and muffler. If you have the baffle remove as much as possible. then put it all back together with the new cover. The all you do is retune your saw.

I have em listed on eBay, but can sell direct with a Paypal account.

Also, if any of you folks have piles of the covers, I would love to have em.

Scott.

Scott, in your pic how is the mod attached? (mig/tig/brazed). I wouldn't have thought that the chrome would last long? Cheers

Hey Shaggs,

The pipe is welded. Mig. Chrome? There is no chrome on this muffler. The stainless is polished.
Thanks,
Scott.

Bill, I would prefer that you send the entire muffler so I could work over the baffle.

HawaiiPastryguy over at AS had one designed for a 61 husky. I think I did it for $60 + $10. for shipping. I do not have a whole lot of husky parts so I will request that I work your muffler up. Typically it is cheaper that way.

Thanks,
Scott.

If I am not mistaken I think I made 2 pipes come out of the original hole. Just larger and with spark screens added in the pipes.
