Alain,
You need to copy the pictures back to your computer then upload to Treeworld server then they will appear... We purposely block picture hosting sites as in time pictures disappear leaving gaping holes in threads and in some cases as a result it also removes the context of the post.

It's been a while since you joined and if you dont keep practicing you soon forget, so here are some instructions on how to upload your pictures.

How to post| add a picture or file| embed picture

Hi Gents !

Sorry for the my-life.net side of the story but i can't pass it.

Today i gave a visit for my mother in law i don't see often, after the usual sayings i told her i was to do firewood this winter with a guy she knows as a former childhood's friend of her own son , and indidently i was to have a chainsaw. She said my father in law, André, had saw and she wanted me to have them, almost apoligising for the saw to be probably old.
Touchy moment when i discovered a Stihl 07S. Nice remebering for André we're missing for years now, to be cleaned and decoratively stand high in my worshop.

Denise, that's her name ( moter in law, not saw ) said another saw should be at her own siste'rs house, Lucienne, gave her a call and invited me to go there and ask for the saw. I believe she gave another call while i was en route.

Good thing it is, as i also visit too few Lucienne, saddly herself wive from Claude after she lost her unique son for almost two years. Usual familly speakings again, then Lucienne guided me to an outbuilding for the saw. I recognized the old saw, Stihl 056 AV Electronic and Claude's MS180 and MS039, i used a bit while helping his nephew to do firewood i bought from him.

Lucienne told me to take the three saws. I refused, said a closest parent should have them instead, like the nephew. She replied he has his own saw but used to work with Claude's saws, and she firmly insisted again.
Wow wow wow. Those ladies, famillie's poles, real Queens.

OK.

I couldn't help myself and took ( crappy cell phone -) pictures to share.

The two vintage saws from André, MS07S and MS056 :

Then not relevant to the thread object but can't dissocy, saws from Claude, MS180 and MS039 :

For you Honorable Experts, how old are the two vintage saws, may be serial number database somewhere ?

Best thing is, no kidding... i filled the 07's gas tank, there was still chain oil... i had to get off heavy dust to look for the unknowne to me switches, turned them, pulled the cord and at the seventh pull the engine woke up ! The saw probably wasn't started for nine years or probably more, it's amazing.

The 056 started well also, but i believe the button on the leftupper grip, made to block the trigger in reving position, isn't working anymore. Other than, that, runs like a charm.

The modern saws looks like they had to suffer way much more.
