Hey Guys, I Wanted To Get Some Talk Going About Stihls Pole Pruners.i Purchased One About Two Months Ago And I Don't Know How I Made As Long As I Did Without One.i Got The Ht-131 Model, and This Thing Goes Through 12'wood Like Butter.and The 4 Stroke Engine Is Awesome.you Can Get Into Or Rather Stay Out Of Some Precarious Situations, like Dead Wooding Big Junk Without Having To Keep Your Life Insurance Policy On Your Mind While You Do It,haha.best Money Ive Spent Since My Big Shot Slingshot.just Make Sure When You Set It On The Ground When Not In Use You Keep It More Than 40 Feet Away From Where You Would Expect An 80' Oak Crown To Hit Ground After You Top It.yeah, I Had It Two Weeks And Completely Smashed The Tube Shaft With About 2000lbs Of Treetop.barely Broke Even On That Job Cause It Also Took Out The Chainlink Fence. M A N !!! I Love Doing Free Tree Work. Spartek

I bought the HT101 about 4 yrs ago when we had a real bad ice storm here, I checked out the Husky models but the stihl was a better product, it got used real hard that year and still runs like a champ, not once did I have a problem with it excellant investment.

I ended up getting at ht75 about 2 or 3 weeks ago. 2nd hand, about 8 years old. Its a really god unit. The only drama i had was an oil leak at the bar which ended up being due to the fella before me 'serviceing' it. All good now.

Ours just got run over by a car last week and it's still kicking. Didn't bend it, didn't break it, can't tell it ever happened. The only problem we ever have with it is that one of my co-workers is great a getting it pinched and it keeps pulling apart when he trys to yank it out. As long as you don't misuse it, it works great.
