Default Sthil 064 great saw/or not even close to a MS660

Hello I was wondering if any of you have had a chance to run a 064. i have a chance to buy one for a good price 100 US dollars. in very good shape. I guess my question is do I buy and sell this 064, and maybe turn a little profit and get into a MS 660, or save my money and keep the 064. this would not be a every day saw for me. Just need one to knock the big ones down. your opions have all was be great. please let me know what you think

Of all the saws I owned the 064 was my favorite. I bought one of the very 1st ones back in early 1986 brand new. These 1st ones were only 14.1 lbs, lighter then the new MS460. At 85cc she had plenty of power, can fall, limb and top any size timber all day long.
I bought a 066 mag Artic with the dp muffler in 1992 and I very disappointed how oversized and heavy the saw was from the 064. At 92cc the 066 wasn't alot more powerfull, but I must admit 18 yrs later and a few thousand hours on it the 066 is still running fine and I never had the cylinder off of it.
If you have a chance to get one of the very early 064s get it
Willard.
