Default Replacing points

I have been asked to "fix" a Stihl MS250. First the fuel line had to be replaced. I changed the filter also. Next I found no spark. I changed the plug with no change. i don't know if it has an electronic ignition.
My question is, how do you get to the points. Do you remove the recoil starter and then pull the flywheel? Next what is the trick to putting the recoil spring back on. I always have a cursing match whenever the spring has to be rewound and re-attached to the crank shaft.
Any help would be great. BTW some clearance numbers for the points and magneto would be nice.
Thanks,

Default Re: Replacing points

No points in a MS250. All electronic. I use a business card to set the flywheel gap for the coil.
