Default Replacing a 200T AV mount

Hey all,

Broke the AV mount on the left side of my MS200T, sheared the rubber in half just above the metal plate.

Ordered a replacement AV mount... but, dangit, how do I get that metal plate with the little rubber left on it, out of the side of the saw???

Does it screw down in there? Can I weld a nut to it and screw it out? How's it work?

A long time I replaced one, cant remember what goes on but wasn't as bad as the rear one ... I'm sure it has like a screw somehow.

treekiwi is right, they screw in, just tap at the metal washer and it'll come out. I waited 2 weeks for 1 and when it came it was the same as the ones on 009, 011 etc so you probably have one on that damaged saw, I did.

Okay,

Well I got the mount replaced alright. Ended up taking off the pull-start assembly to give myself more room to get a tool around that washer. It's not like they couldn't make the thing a little thicker to give you something to really grab onto, but I managed to get it off anyway.

Took the saw over to the hose, washed out the inside really nicely... got back to the bench, put the new AV mount in, then realized that somewhere I lost the screw that attatches the handle to the AV mount.

(this is me cussing like a sailor)

Couldn't find it after 20 mins of looking, so now I've gotta get a replacement screw. Noticed that, yes, the AV mounts on my 011 would have fit the 200T, so at least I've got some spares there, but couldn't find a spare screw like I need for the 200T, on the 011..... damn!!!

Looks like I'll have to see if the two local dealers have a replacement screw, otherwise I'm gonna hit up Home Depot, match the thread and put anything in there that'll fit as a temporary cuz I need to hit this job TOMOROW.....

I'm sure somehow it'll work out.

Oh, does anyone have an exploded parts diagram of the 200T so I can figure out which part # that screw is, and if there's a washer or something that's supposed to be in there?

Well I was thinking more of a pdf Ekka.

I got that saw off Ebay (and totally lucked out on that one), but it came with no manual.

I'll make it work for later today then replace the correct part as soon as possible.
