Default Problem Keeping Chain Tight on 024

I have put a New .325 Chain from Stihl, on my 024, and I'm having troubles keeping the Chain Tight. It has a New Rim, Sprocket as well, and the Bar Is in great shape as well. Everything is .325 as well.
When I tighten the Chain, I just have it tight enough, that I can spin the Chain freely, and then I tighten up the Bar,Nuts, and check the Tension of the Chain again, and make sure that the Chain Spins nicely by hand. Is there something that I'm missing here. Your Input, and Advice is Greatly Appreciated. Thanks. Bruce.

When tightening ,ake sure you pull the nose of the bar upward ... usually there's a tad of play and the bar can move slightly up or down.

By pulling it up it removes the play in the same direction as force would be experienced in the cut. Try it, just before you tighten the bar nuts grab the nose of the bar and move it up and down.

Also, new chains will stretch a little, if you keep pushing blunt chains through cuts they stretch a little more too due to heat and friction, keep chains sharp, check adjustment at every fuelling, make sure plenty of lube is going on.

Hi Ekka.
Thanks for the Reply. I have been doing all that you have mentioned, when putting on a Chain. I'm kind of wondering, if the Face of the Nuts could be worn a bit, or the Bar Cover, could be worn a bit from the Tightening of the Bar Nuts, and it isn't getting tight enough. Then is it possible that the Chain works itself loose? Thanks. Bruce.

Just to let you Fellas know, that I have resolved the Problem of the Chain Coming Loose on my 024 .
The Bar Cover, had a High Ridge in it, where it comes into Contact with the Bar. I noticed it, while I was cleaning it up, after I took the Chain off to be Sharpened.
So I took it to my Bench Disc Sander. and I sanded the Face of the Bar Cover down smooth, and I haven't had a problem with the Chain coming Loose . Thanks. Bruce.

Now you need to solve the chain tension mystery of the Stihl HT75 pole pruner.
